Who decides the days of Super Regionals?

Does the hosting school or the NCAA decide if supers are played Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon?

It goes with whichever side of the bracket you are on. So essentially the seeding that the selection committee has made determines it.

pretty sure it has to do with how many teams on which side of the bracket goes to a Monday game 7 in regionals. that side of the bracket is likely to get Sat/Sun/Mon.

Sidenote: it was mildly humorous listening to mahtook claiming one of the reasons jay will throw a top arm friday is for the super regionals, which could open up on a thursday.

Thanks man. I forgot to mention that he does in fact control the weather itself. So if there’s rain in the forecast, I hope everyone remembers to blame Jay. Let’s all bitch about start times and any decision he may or may not make.

Well Glen West was on Hunt’s show saying Jay will likely pitch Kade hoping for a 7-inning run rule game in game 1.

Sometimes I really wonder how much the guys on that show really know about anything. Their Twitter account is full of them arguing with random people or tweeting out something with a million exclamation points and fire emojis. They get decent interviews though.
