"Custody exchange gone wrong" leads to mother killing father in Moss Bluff

Looking at the clerk's record, the divorce started with an ex parte and the decedent-father had just filed a rule to modify custody Thursday. He lives out of state now and had planned a trip to see the kids this past weekend but then he claims she ghosted him. I'm guessing he came down anyway and that led to the initial conflict.
Per my booking records, the bond is $1.5M.
This is going to be a case in the news I reckon.

Spent first 14 years of my life in Sulphur. Meanest girls I've ever encountered in my life. I can't imagine they soften much in adulthood.

This case is kind of interesting. The woman [if you can call her that] was cheered on by a bunch of Facebook people for “fighting for her kids”. And the guy from his book of face lives in colorado. Details are still sketchy but I wonder if he was armed? I always went armed to custody hand offs. Even the most innocent looking females are capable of murder
