If it's the same train station, yes, I got fricked up in Heidelberg once because my transfer was in a different train station that I didn't know about.

Yeah should be plenty. Chances are its a very short walk. But as said above I'm not familiar with that station at all so make sure. You should be able to figure out to some degree what track your arrival is generally to and where the departure is generally from.

Where are you going? Most have multiple if not hourly departures so there's no reason to stress it too much.

Swiss trains at least from my experience are on time. 30 minutes should be plenty of time to switch trains.

That’s a normal amount of time for a European train transfer.

I was screwed once with a layover of that length coming from Amsterdam to Frankfurt when the train had to detour around a construction zone.

Outstanding something dramatic like that, you will be fine.

More than enough time, Basel is an easy station. I made a 3 minute connection there no problem.

Yes big plenty. Even if it’s on a diff platform or whatever that is ample time. Swiss trains are almost perfectly on time to the second. I love traveling Switzerland by train. Interlaken is also great. The views from Harder Kulm are tough to beat. Make sure you see grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen if you can.

Yes I've made transfers on 9 minute layovers in Europe before (was on DB before they got sloppy). As one said, make sure you are in the same station. Many large cities there have five or more stations.

Should be plenty of time. If hungry try Vito's Pizza in the main concourse. It's legit. Have friends that live there and they go to the train station to get their pizza.
