I find it really hard to sympathize with a bunch of Indian and Chinese students at Harvard. I would suggest that they should continue their studies and their career at some location near their places of birth, and hope that this leads to a somewhat satisfying middle-class existence. Replace "India" and "China" with "Mississippi" and that's exactly what I did, and I'm far from convinced that I got any unfair advantage over them. In fact, I suspect the opposite, especially when it comes to the sons and daughters of India.
