The best pool players in the world are in New Orleans right now

At Buffalos on Bloomfield for a one pocket tournament. Fedor Gorst (Russian, now US citizen), Josh Filler (German), and Shane VanBoning (American). And one pocket legends Scott Frost and Tony Chohan.
Not including snooker, Russian pyramid, three rail, etc.
Tons of side bets. If you're local, swing by and watch the best and maybe make a few bucks.

I remember a few years back when some of those guys were doing a little tournament at the old spot in Metairie. Drove down mostly to watch Efren Reyes while I had the chance, the room was packed.

Went down and watched the tournament in person last year. Pretty cool to be standing right next to Efren Reyes and Fedor Gorst. I'm thinking Filler takes it all this year. He's better hitting 'em pretty f'ing strong this week.
