Multiple chances to do so.
Both Biden and Trump kept classified docs while out of office.
Biden returned them and didn’t get charged.
Trump repeatedly refused and got charged.
Why?

Trump can and did declassify his documents as He was the President and has this power. Biden had no declassification power. Tapper is a Dbag.

Trump legally obtained and can have those documents and got charged.
Biden as a VP which isn’t allowed taking documents and storing them by his corvette didn’t get in any trouble because he was deemed incompetent to stand trial but got continue being president.

Trump was working with them prior to his home being raided.
Trump was president and had ultimate authority to declassify on a whim.
Biden had never been president when he stashed documents so he had no such power.

Biden took documents when he was in the Senate and as VP when he had ZERO legal backing to do so. He blatantly broke the law by both taking them and storing them unsecured.
Trump was president and had declassification ability. By statute.
