He was indecisive deeper into his reads at times and is inaccurate on the long ball. Hope this improves in September.

I wonder if Nuss has been limited by the O-coordinator's play calling. He seems highly overrated. Maybe they'll open it up like Jayden's final year.

I didn't watch it, but did they mention anything about keeping the defenses honest by continuing to show that he will run when the opportunity presents

Normally, when evaluating for the NFL, this would not have been discussed, but there has been a significant shift in that philosophy with some of the best teams having mobile QBs

his comp was Baker Mayfield, similar high confidence with decision making and aggressiveness.

I'm not upvote downvote counter, but noticed all downvotes on this

Do you guys realize that the Super Bowl had Mahomes and Hurts and their O/U on rushing yards was like 30-40 yards prior to KO

Josh Allen, Jayden Daniels, the list goes on

Are you just willfully ignorant or is there something else?

He’s got #1 overall potential. Just needs to learn how to run the damn ball from time to time. Doesn’t have to be Burrow or Daniels just keep the defense honest

that’s been his comp since recruiting. He needs to run more.

Tbh, I didn't watch it. I made my own evaluation based off what I saw all of last year.

Poor decisions deeper into his reads.
Inaccurate on long balls.
Seemed immature at times.

And now that i really think about it, he acts in haste(throws ints) when he is pressured.

Many fans used to piss all over JD5 for tucking the ball and taking the sack too much. At least he never turned the ball over hardly not to mention he got better, much better. Hope the same happens for Nuss.

I do agree that NFL teams want decent mobility in the QB's they select. That is certainly the trend. Just look across the NFL. The Clemson QB has that not too mention he is lightening fast.

Help me understand how Nuss is going to be better after the O-line was just gutted? What was it again, four guys we lost?
