NOT.
quote:

"Some employees have been placed on administrative leave following their polygraphs, while others have resigned rather than take the exams, according to people familiar with the dynamics inside DHS," the report states while also noting that Noem confidante Madison Sheahan, the No. 2 official at ICE, "... routinely threatens to subject employees to polygraphs in meetings."

Hold a security clearance? Deny a poly, not sure that's going to work out for you.

They can't have leakers or thieves. It's a position of national security. The threats are a reminder to keep your nose clean.

See no problem with this. I work for an airline and we are subject to random drug screens at any time. Part of the job and it’s a safety issue. Even in states where marijuana is legal you can and would be fired if you tested positive.

That's the most shocking line of your thread. I know she's from North Dakota, Noem's home state. She is under 30 years old, and was somehow chosen to be the LA Secretary of WLF at age 26 (surely a position that Landry was told to give her from GOP top brass) with no experience. Now high up in the Federal Government. Any of you green jean baws got any insight on her? Is she brilliant, or just given the elite level of advancment from the higher ups because of nepotism?

I know 3 people very well that dealt with her here. 2 thought very highly of her, 1 had their job duties juggled and was ambivalent.

On one hand, this seems like it would be a morale killer. On the other hand, all our government agencies are chockfull of lunatics who would love nothing more than to sabotage anything and everything while Trump is in power. So too bad...it's gotten to this point because of their insubordinate behaviors.

Just like a lot of bank jobs, they are told when hired they can be subjected to poly tests. Good riddance.

I disagree. The good folks probably are encouraged by this. Finally seeing some accountability.

I’ve had to take polygraphs for non governmental jobs.

Federal employees should take polygraphs. They are no more special than any of us.

They’ve been leaking info on ICE raids to local groups to reduce effectiveness.
