It’s obvious that Biden will be passing away during Trump’s presidency. Not that I’d expect the Bidens to ask him to speak, but if they did, how do you think that would go? Do you think he’d use it as another opportunity to cast doubt on his legitimacy as a president or do you see Trump being very respectful and even offering self-deprecating humor in an attempt to bridge the divide?

I see him taking the latter option.

Biden doesn’t have cancer. He’s not dying anytime soon.

I guess so. He'll have to lie and say some nice things about him.

Why unfortunately? Although not required, it is customary for the sitting president to speak at a former president’s funeral. Are you so infected with TDS that you don’t even want him speaking at a former president’s funeral?

I can't see it happening. Theres just too much disdain from his people toward him and vice versa.

You can't just pretend that the things said by both sides over the last 6-8 years didn't happen. The engineering ingenuity needed to bridge that divide does not exist.

If he does speak and doesn’t end it with God speed, Big Guy, he will have missed the troll of a lifetime.

You missed my point. Biden doesn't deserve to have Trump speak. He's not worthy.

As bizarre as it would be, I could actually see trump speaking at the funeral and being very unpredictably cordial and nice about it. It seems like there is a threshold he has about knowing when to reign it in.

I'd watch just to see which direction he went with it.

Trump would be very presidential. Legitimate or not, the position of former POTUS is very exclusive. Only 3 or 4 living at most points in time. It wouldn't be the time to grind an axe.
