Looking for a pizza place with a party room that will fit 20 people (mix of adults and kids). Mr. Gatti's remodeled and no longer has closed off rooms.

Go there for below average pizza and jackass service and owner.

No one wants to be at a forced party. Kids don't care what they eat. The Pastime will have baseball on TV, mixed drinks in the bar, and a huge room you don't need to reserve.

Did you try Gattis in Denham?

Rotolo's Craft and Crust on Burbank has a room up front that would work.

Havent been to Pastime in over 6 years but recall many times there when Mr Joe was tending bar and after Joe retired and the place was still run by the son of the owner. I forget his name (Randy maybe?) but he was all about food and service. Did they too sell out since? If you into LSU and a cool historical place with reasonably priced good food, that was it.

Pastime survives on nostalgia. It sucks. I've eaten pizza all over the world and it's up there w/ Altoona as the worst I've ever had. And it case you don't know this is what Altoona pizza looks like
so um yeah
so um yeah

Randy was the one that made a total arse of himself online. He's likely the jackass that poser is referring to.

The owner is indeed a jackass. But I still love it for nostalgia. Not every restaurant has to be culinary greatness. Give me some pizza that’s edible, and a nostalgic atmosphere and. I’ll be happy. The only negative for me is the owner. I go less because of him than because of the pizza.

Is it bad that I kind of want to try this just to see how awful it is?

Gatti’s doesn’t have the closed off room anymore, but I’ve seen people hold parties there in the back section nearr the arcade. It’s kinda separated off from the rest of the restaurant

That is so sad to know. Randy would remember my name when I walked in even if I had t been there in 6 months when we moved away from BR. Randy didn’t back down and he was loyal to PT but PT was like alot of places. Your “parents” place. Same as Flur de leis, Pinettas, Phil Brady’s and such. A lot of restaurants struggle because of the losers who apply for jobs these days.

If willing to wait hours for your order, severely understaffed
