A google search revealed these obvious drummers, but who else ya got?

The Eagles: Don Henley, a drummer, was also a lead singer and songwriter for many of their hits.
Genesis: Phil Collins, known for his drumming, became the band's lead singer after Peter Gabriel's departure.
The Band: Levon Helm was a drummer and a prominent vocalist for the band.
The Carpenters: Karen Carpenter, the band's drummer, was also a lead vocalist.
The Beatles: Ringo Starr, while primarily known for his drumming, also sang lead vocals on several songs, including "With A Little Help From My Friends" and "Yellow Submarine".
The Foo Fighters: Taylor Hawkins, the drummer, also sang lead vocals alongside Dave Grohl.
Night Ranger: Kelly Keagy serves as both the lead singer and drummer for the band.

IMHO the best singer in Buffalo Springfield was the drummer, Dewey Martin.

AFAIK, he sang lead on precisely one track:

Peter Rivera of Rare Earth and Don Brewer of Grand Funk, on occasion.
And I almost forgot- Moulty of 60's band, The Barbarians!

I feel so ashamed How could I forget ol' Moulty?

Supposedly among the backing musicians are several members of The Hawks, aka The Band

Moulty was a tall guy with very long hair for the time and I am sure with his prosthetic left hand, must have been quite a sight especially singing, 'Are you a Boy or are you a Girl'. I didn't even realize a few of the band members later formed 'Black Pearl', I still have their live album by Black Pearl and I have to look back, believe I have a first pressing of The Barbarians album as well.

No mention of Buddy Miles yet? I must be getting old...

Fun fact - Buddy was also the lead singer in the California Raisins commercial.
