WS needs about a 45 mins cut.
Begins is pure unappreciated greatness. Just put in on loop. I think I’ve seen it a 100 times.

Batman Begins. Winter Soilder sucked. The first Captain America is a classic.

Love both but has to be Winter Solider for me. I really liked BB but it just doesn't hit the same as WS. Winter Soldier is still in my top three MCU movies of all time and one of my favorite superhero movies in general up there with, The Dark Knight and Infinity War

Batman Begins had next to no marketing. It was a surprise hit and the best movie of the summer. It had to go up against Revenge of the Sith and War of the Words. Both of which had unbelievable money sunk into them.
I remember people leaving the theater dumbfounded about how good it was. Pretty shocking honestly. It's every bit as good as the Dark Knight. It really caused a histeria for it's sequel. Launched Christopher Nolan into the stratosphere.
Winter Soldier is pretty badass too.

I think Batman Begins is one of, if not the, best superhero movie(s). Disclaimer, I'm not a massive fan of the Marvel/DC/superhero movies, but I think the origin stories of superheroes are generally the best movies in a given series. I find the story of how an individual becomes a superhero more interesting than the typical template of crisis followed by massive set battle/fight sequences, which I think are kind of boring.

As much as I love Winter Soldier, Batman Begins is the best Batman movie ever made (even including The Dark Knight).
It really captured the right tone for Batman, as well as establishing Gotham as it's own character in the movie. It has better cinematography, better pacing, a better score, and better character work.
Again, I dearly love TWS and it is probably the best MCU movie. But BB is one of the best superhero movies, period. I'm not sure TWS is even a top 5 superhero movie.

The only thing keeping Batman Begins from being exceptional was the Scarecrow/chemical threat. Should have just left him out of it. The origin story was perfect.

I like the winter soldier quite a bit, but BB for me. It's top 3-4 comic book film for me
