Paul Maineiri proves that he is still great at helping LSU lose games late.

Just kidding. I still have tons of respect for him revitalizing LSU Baseball and winning tradition.
Looking for us to settle in and take the next two.

We are poised to win the next two if Anderson and Eyanson can give us 7 good innings and we can score 5-6 runs. SC didn't have a hit til the 6th inning We gave the game away. These guys should be able to shut them down.

Well he didn’t follow Skip. He followed Smoke.

This is the larger problem.
Columbia wasn't some hostile environment last night. It was empty.

Football fan that occasionally ventures to other LSU sports? Or hated Smoke so bad, you tried to forget him?
Edit: or wasn't alive at that time because you are a young chap.

Upvote.
I admit I LOLed when he left the guy in too long in the 8th to give LSU two more runs.
Then we choked like the road dogs we are.
Why they ranked this team #1 when they can't win a road series is beyond me.

Yeah, but he waited for the smoke to clear.

After they won, he looked like Joe Biden. He wasn't sure if he was coaching South Carolina or LSU. It was very weird and kind of funny.

He did great here but Smoke was the worst coach of all time. Anyone would have turned the team around.
I remember Patterson telling me stories from the 2 and BBQ Omaha time. Smoke was so bad.
