Someone had to talk him into this NOLA hussy. She was childhood friends with Mike Johnson, as well.

How/when/where would ACB and Mike Johnson have connected as children?

Mike Johnson is from fricking Benton, right???
That's about as far away from New Orleans as you can get.
Unkess of course you believe in those darned tin foil hat "theories" that these people are identified at young ages and put through a brainwashing circuit of sorts.
I bet they were all part of some "student govmt" camp or state convention growing up.

Everyone in Louisiana hates anyone politically connected to Louisiana. Shreveport and New Orleans are 250 miles apart. Doesn't matter. Make up a lie, and call it fact. In Louisiana it becomes 100% believable.

Barrett, a former clerk for Justice Antonin Scalia, is known for her originalist and textualist approach to constitutional interpretation. This philosophy aligns with the conservative legal movement and the Federalist Society, which had significant influence over Trump's judicial appointments .
quote:
By nominating Barrett, Trump aimed to fulfill his 2016 campaign promise to appoint pro-life justices, thereby energizing his conservative and evangelical base ahead of the 2020 election . Her nomination was seen as a strategic move to galvanize support among voters concerned with the ideological balance of the Court.
One of the best things to happen to this country and our federal elections was to move abortion to the states.

Heritage Foundation and RHINOs lobbied for Berrett and Kavenaugh.
The Federalist Society put together his original list from the 2016 campaign, but of his 3 nominees only Gorsuch was on the campaign list.
