Max originals are awful. They are all cheap and cheesy looking. HBO wanted to separate their originals from max

What?
Peacemaker, Hacks, The Pitt, Station Eleven, Love & Death, Tokyo Vice, and The Staircase were all Max originals. Plus quite a few good documentaries.

Hacks just won the Golden Globe for best comedy. Its great.
