For some reason I’m thinking CPM will have his guys playing better than a 5-22 team should be playing. We can’t overlook this weekend. Look what happened to A&M last weekend, they obviously overlooked Mizzou….

They will be playing for pride, which isn’t nothing, but I think the talent differential is so vast that we should handle them if we show up focused

This weekend is definitely personal for him after being pushed out here

bullshite.

Heard him on Moscona's show today. Dude loves LSU, regardless of how/why he left here. He absolutely HATES having to play LSU this weekend.

He knows what's about to happen. Go in there and smack them around as we should. Business is business.

maybe he should’ve taken the weekends a little more personally while he was here. Maybe even the midweek games as well.

That doesn’t necessarily translate to extra incentive to win on his part and it certainly doesn’t translate to his players. They haven’t shown much life the last few weeks. Why would this weekend be any different? If they were motivated to play for their coach they wouldn’t have thrown in the towel already. That doesn’t mean the last home series won’t wake them up, but I really see no evidence they’ll get pumped up for Manieri’s sake.

I’ve been banging the table for weeks making this very statement. A lot of posters dismissed my argument and stuck to their guns that we’re sweeping these bums. Hope like hell they’re right because we gotta win 2. There are too many ball clubs log-jammed at 16 & 11 right on our damn tail.

LSU is a national seed regardless what happens this weekend. It was sealed with Arkansas.

They aren't aa bad as everyone is acting. They're 27-26. All 26 losses are against teams in the top 60 of the RPI. They're just the 15th best team in a dominant league. They would probably be around .500 in the ACC and would be better than that in any other league.

They got absolutely dog walked by Clemson. And Clemson is 7th in the ACC, 3 games above .500.

In Mainieri’s interview today, he told the SC reporters that he recruited several current LSU players - Jones, Milam, Brown, Josh Pearson, and Kade Anderson.

Is that true?
