Trump v US says absolute immunity for core constitutional functions. It was dumb then just as it is now

Which of these was Hunter performing for a decade and why is he no longer on any board…anywhere?

I don't even see how they could test the legality of the pardons without prosecuting the people and then having the issue litigated.

I think some pardons were still dropping while Joe was en route to the inauguration. I doubt he was robosigning in the Suburban but maybe so.

Investigate which person or persons used the autopen to sign Biden's name. Who placed the pardon document into the autopen for signature?

core constitutional function is the president's ability to pardon, not whatever the pardonee may have done

BIden's pardon for Danny Ocean is looking very suspect

Its a catchy sound byte, but Presidential Pardons are constitutional and highly doubtful to be challenged much less overturned.
Trump is the best at baiting the Marxists and having them expose themselves, then stomping on their heads!

Well we all know the actual President wasn't involved in those pardons so that will be the challenge if they can prove it.

I completely agree, hence the investigation into whether or not it actually WAS the President and whether or not he was aware (consented) to these pardons.

Nobody is challenging the right of the president to pardon people. What is being question is Presidential staff's right to issue pardons.

If that’s what it takes then I say they should go for it.
As another poster already commented, I don’t think anyone questions the right of a president, as an individual, to issue pardons.
Do others within in an administration have the right to issue pardons under the name of a president and regardless of whether that president may/may not have immediate first hand knowledge of those pardons being issued under his/her name?

There is a potential massive political cost to that strategy, though.
This is the "Trump is using the DOJ to attack his enemies" example on a platter if they were to fail, which is why this is unlikely to lead anywhere other than a memo/report, I reckon.

Bet they wish they'd confirmed him as US Atty for DC.

No doubt you will likely disagree with this SFP but many will say (myself included) the previous Dem administration already opened that Pandora’s box.
ETA: Regardless, and whether DJT is risking political costs to himself I think it’s a pertinent question that needs to be addressed, brought to light and settled all future admins going forward.
Does a “presidential pardon” mean one has indeed been pardoned by the president or does that mean one can be pardoned by an administration?

Are autopen pardons the actual intent of a non compos mentis person?
