In some ways the success of the US in driving back communism has diminished the need to take European asylum seekers wanting to leave those places. Poland, the Balkans are examples. And Scandinavians have such a high standard of living, they don't need to come here. But there is a need for asylum for Africans. There is persecution of Christians in some African nations and certainly persecution of white South Africans. Any opposition to taking these people in is racism, period. We should also take persecuted Black Africans.

America is well served accepting these folks. They bring a skill set and are waving American flags. They didn't come looking for handouts or burning our flag. This is how immigration should work.
