Wrong. This issue will be black and white. If we are $1 better off it's a win.
Trump coming of a demand here or there isn't caving, it's called dealing. Asking for too much, then lowering it to close, is as basic of negotiation that exists.
There is no opportunity to cave without demanding more than you want. Trump, and only Trump, did that to the world!
China is watching it's fragile economy and it's getting worse by the day. They are at the table talking, which means there's a deal, period.
Why would they talk at all if they weren't open to negotiate a deal?
