If we knew Carr was retiring…. Should we have made a play for Cam or Dart,,..

No … ward would have cost us an arm and leg and he is just not that great of a prospect to surrender those assets … and shough or dart depends on who you ask which one is the better prospect … we waited didn’t surrender assets and took our shot

Whoever you ask probably would say Dart.,, I think we approach this past off season differently if we knew this.,, it’s possible Moore wouldn’t even be the coach if other candidates knew they wouldn’t be saddled with Carr and his contract

I don’t think Carr changed our coaching decision at all. Vrabel and Johnson weren’t coming here.

Too steep a price for Cam and I think Dart will be a bust. Much rather the option we chose.

Completely wrong …. There were plenty of reports leading to the draft of teams have shough as the second best prospect and a late first round prospect just like dart

This is stupid. I’m not sold on Moore, but he’s a way way better head coaching prospect than Allen. I woukd take Vrabel or Ben Johnson over him but a pretty great hire considering the circumstances.

But one of the few things I give Loomis credit for was landing him. Especially with the shite situation he created.

???… landing him, wasn’t no bidding war for Moore… he was literally the last coach hired in the cycle

We drafted a guy 10 picks from the first round who is 26. They’re going to give him every opportunity to win the job. If he struggles we likely won’t have much success and will have very valuable picks next year.

If?
As we didn't get a vet QB in FAs there is no doubt there was no if.

Question now do we have to make a trade for a vet or go for a very weak qb market. I think we try to make a trade now and if price is too high wait for camp cuts. There will be many QB cuts at the end of camp.

They’ll bring in a journeyman backup for camp, they’ll duke it out with Ratt and Shough for the starting job, and odds are will be cut before week one.

Going to need a veteran presence in the QB room. Shough will need mentorship. Rattler is nothing more than a clipboard holder.
