My wait is up for season tickets.
Probably because we suck now.
I may be interested in buying some, but i'm not going to every game.
Is it easy to get at least face value in order to get your money back if you sell a few games?

Just depends how we do. If we have a season around last year you’re going to way overpay for season tickets compared to just buying them off secondary market.

If we somehow turn it around early in the KM regime then it will likely be a good investment with fans hungry for a winner.

I’d probably just buy tickets to the games I’d want to go to off the secondary market as I think we’re likely a at least a season or two away from there being a huge demand again.

Yeah I mean I’m just factoring in what I think is going to take time with the roster, the Vegas win total, etc.

Could definitely be way off

Yes, I will definitively buy some from you if the seats are good.

Probably will lose money on most games until the franchise starts winning again or you sell your tickets to big traveling fans like Dallas or Vegas.

If we are good, you will make money
If we are average, you will break even
If we are bad, you will lose money

Better games can make you more money; they’re also the ones you want to go to.

Split the tickets with someone or go to the games. Will save you a lot of headache

Schedule this year sucks. No big games to make money off of.

Atlanta Falcons- potential for more than face if both teams are good at time of game

Carolina Panthers- face value at best, most likely a loss

Tampa Bay Buccaneers- same as falcons

Arizona Cardinals- face value at best if you list before the season

San Francisco 49ers- will get more than face if you list before the season

New England Patriots- potential for more than face if you list before the season

New York Jets- face value at best, most likely a loss

New York Giants- will get more than face if you list before the season

Don't sell your tickets. Shuck is the real deal.

My dad bought Saints season tickets for the first time before the 2006 season. He called the ticket office right after the Saints decided to draft Reggie Bush (they had already decided to sign Drew Brees at that point) and secured two tickets. I was 13, but we have a 40-year age gap, and since he isn’t as technologically inclined as I am, I always handled the selling. I officially took over the tickets completely in 2021.

I’m not going to sit here and act like I know everything about selling Saints tickets, but I have noticed some very simple things:

1. Sell early.
The earlier you can sell them, the more you’ll get. As soon as season tickets hit your account, look for big games against opponents who travel well (Steelers, Cowboys, Packers, Eagles, 49ers, etc.) and decide if they work for you. If they don’t, sell them immediately. This will be your highest profit point.

2. When the Saints are good, tickets sell higher.
That’s a given.

3. Where you sit matters.
When we first got tickets, I was near the top of the Dome—just happy to be there. When I took them over, I moved down 20 rows. What I didn’t realize was that I landed in the first row before a price tier change. I couldn’t sell my tickets for face value to save my life because someone one or two rows above me paid much less and was willing to sell for less.

Fast forward to this year—and because we were trash last year—I could move damn near anywhere I wanted in the Dome. I moved to the lowest row right before the next price change.

Simple put..

With Brees I could sell before season starts.

Without Brees I dang near give the tickets away.

What section? If you in the plaza and we suck, hell no you aren't getting face value. If we winning youre lucky to get it.

600 level you have a better chance at face value since they are cheap to start with.

Tbh no matter how bad we were last year I was able to sell my tickets at or above face for every home game starting from the TNF game vs Denver. Now my tickets do include free snacks, soda, beer, wine, and champagne but still.

Just review all the posts here from last season with tickets under $20 and Plaza under $100.

Until we have a franchise QB if you sell all your tickets expect a 70-80% loss.
