Make our Purgatory end. I’m thrilled if Willie stays on for a support role, really like the guy, but I want to see change.

Because, “we are going to keep our bad coach because we don’t want to pay one season of a buyout”, doesn’t make for a great press conference.

You think they just forgot? Obviously since he didn't get fired after Dumars was hired he's not getting fired this offseason;.

You haven’t heard anything because nothing is happening.

Front office will shuffle the assistant coaches around and you’ll be told by local media that these are good moves.

Per Fletcher, but still. That's what he tweeted.

They going to hold out as long as they can before announcing willy is staying. Gotta try to sell tickets first.

Dumars has known Willie for a long time. Willie played high school ball
and college ball in Detroit. They’ve had a connection for a long time reportedly.

He was literally in the Saints war room the night of the NFL Draft. What else do you want to know? He's here to stay

I know everybody hates him cuz we were bad this year, but it is interesting seeing it from a national perspective.

Willie Green being the coach was not the reason we won 20 games

It's like firing Monty after making the playoffs and then he leads the Suns to the finals and wins coach of the year.

Monty wasn't that good of a coach nor was he that he was bad. He was coach of the year because he had CP3, DBook and Ayton all healthy with good role players and he was competent.

I know all of us on here hated this season, yes it fricking sucked, maybe some fresh blood would be nice, but lets not fool ourselves and think there's no way to win with Willie.

What about the year before never winning a game when down going into the fourth quarter. Funny how people forget that

I’m convinced people that are okay with Willie staying dont actually watch the games. They see the record and the standings. That’s it. Or if you do watch you just don’t understand the game.

I watched mini games that when he was in a bind or had a question, he would look over to j.B for answers...

I'd like to see what our record this year will be.When j b is gone and willie is the same coach..
It's gonna be a disaster.

Part of us never winning a game in the 4th Q is Ingram was mid to bad in clutch situations. Zion is mid to bad in clutch situations because his entire game relies on a fair whistle from refs, and it’s not like he’s a good FT shooter. CJ plays bad against every team with a pulse.

None of those guys handle the ball well enough to consistently dribble or conduct an offense when the other team is trying

Blaming everything on Willie is old and tired.

He should have been fired last year after going like 0-27 in games where he was trailing in the 4th quarter. A good coach finds a way to win at least 30% of those.

Because you, I, and every sane human being on the planet knows exactly what's going to happen. They are keeping Willie (stupid fricking decision), we'll have another horrible 10-20 game start, he'll be fired, and we'll waste another year of our time. This franchise is the completely unserious about winning.

Well it makes sense for Borrego. Willie essentially refused to run his offense. In the couple of games Willie missed and Borrego coached we looked like a different team

You know why they were bad? Because we resorted to iso street ball with no real direction from Willie. Team ball would die out and hero ball was encouraged. None of these guys like Willie cause they know he doesn’t help put them in the best spots. He’s your average rah rah guy but no longer has any impact with the rah rah.
