Without looking at the stats to back it up, Ohtani absolutely mashes at that park down in Miami!

Gnarly broken arm in the Reds game last night. Was only Callihan's 4th game after being called up

Reds are gonna be the “get right” series for the Braves.

Dodgers depth getting tested, and it's answering the bell, but sheesh the amount of injuries is just getting nutty. Teoscar now to the IL.

He’s been impressive. Not as impressive as THE JUDGE, but nobody can clear. He’s fun to watch though.

Sale goes tonight, Schwelly on Thursday. If great value Kenny Powers can recreate some of the magic he's had the past couple of starts, I think there's a possibility we whip the brooms out.

Yankees entered the 7th down 3-2, exit the 7th up 12-3. Ooof.
Elsewhere, Dodgers and Marlins are tied at 4 in the 9th.
Braves and Reds have dueling shut outs in the 8th
Nats hold off the Injuns in a 10-9 shootout.

12-3, how dare you forget Wellsy’s granny! Absolute ROCKET!

Just had it on in the background with MLB big inning. Thought it was over at 8. Totally missed the grand slam. Turning a 1 run lead into a 9 run deficit in one inning is impressive work from the Padres pen.

Start the bidding on what's left of the Astros. These guys stink.

Neither the Cubs or Giants can score the Manfred runner. To the 11th they go

Was hoping PCA would have tried to lay one down, especially after that horrible first swing, but it is what it is. Now giants blowing it wide open. Oof.

Not sure how good Press has been, but rough rough night for him. He will definitely flash these stinkers once a month or so. 11-5 Giants.

Ive been checking in on him. His strikeout rate has cratered. He got hit around a good bit early and then settled in and had only allowed 1 and no runs over his last 6 innings so he carried a 2.08 ERA into tonight but with his lack of strikeouts, it was only a matter of time until tonight's game happened.
He threw 26 pitches tonight and didn't get a single swing and miss. He's only got 5 strikeouts in 13+ innings this year
13IP 17H 11ER 8BB 5K. Not what you want from a closer.

Cardinals now 4-0 against Skenes.

I don't remember the last time I saw an inning like that (hell, maybe I never have). I was watching the Giants broadcast and they were openly discussing whether Pressly might have been tipping his pitches or something. You can't even say he got unlucky, the Giants were hitting rockets off of him.
8 batters faced, 5 hits, one walk, one HBP and another runner reached safely on a sac bunt. 8 batters, 8 earned runs (plus the ghost runner who started the inning at second), not a single out recorded. That has to be about as bad an inning in a high leverage situation as has happened in a longtime.
Most runs in extra inning in Wrigley history, most runs in an extra inning for the Giants since at least 1901. Baseball, man.
