Out now on Netflix.

Jarvis is basically a crybaby as soon as he gets into the league. Nick Young comes off smarter than him.

"I had four hundred and sixty something guns." - Gil

Arenas believes that he was suspended the 50 games for using the team plane to bring guns he bought in Arizona to DC, and not for having guns in the locker room.

I had no idea that Javaris Crittenton was released from prison.

I thought he had at least another decade behind bars. He deserves the sentence.

Crittenton is an actual gang member who's been busted for selling coke and eventually murder. Gilbert is probably lucky he's still alive after dealing with that moron

He had 13 years left. Relatives of the woman he killed believe he got out because the prosecutor, at the time, was Dwight Howard's uncle. Dwight and Javaris are close. It's mentioned in the documentary.

Attempted murder on 2 separate occasions and a murder of an innocent bystander and out in 8 years. That’s the American justice system for you, and why some cities have so much crime.

The scumbag liberal Fulton County DA allowed him to plea to voluntary manslaughter (the victim was a mother of 4 kids).

The story he told of the shooting in the documentary was confusing. He said he saw the guy that robbed him and even locked eyes with him, then when he shot they pulled off and he looked back and 2 people were down meaning he shot both the robber and the woman. They made no mention of anyone being shot besides the woman, so was he just imagining the guy who robbed him being there the whole time and there being 2 people laying down in the street?

I think Gil deserves some blame for being an a-hole. People who play around and shite like that 24/7 can be miserable to be around and its only a matter of time before you frick with the wrong one.

Considering the strict DC gun laws, he may be correct.

You are supposed to be sending guns to a FFL to take possession of them if being transported across state lines. DC in particular tried to run all theirs out of the business to prevent anyone from being legally able to bring a gun into DC.

That's true for handguns. Typically, with some caveats, you can purchase long guns in another state.

Now I can see that potentially playing a part but after you bring guns into the locker room and cause another player to pull a loaded gun that he brought into the locker room, you've caused a BIG PROBLEM for the league.

Remember this was only a few years after the Malice in the Palace and the institution of the player dress code, and then you have a gun standoff in a NBA locker room between teammates. The punishment was going to be bad, no matter what.
