Issue with ESPN app on Fire Stick

I was watching the LSU game on my patio tv yesterday and it froze up. When I got it restarted, the espn app kept telling me to log into my cable provider, which is cox. When I try to log in though the app, the Cox log in page won’t load. I’ve tried deleting the app, restoring the fire stick to factory settings, clearing the data and cache but nothing seems to be working. It’s also doing it on my TV in the bed room, but so far the Tv in the living room is still logged on any working. Anyone have any tips?

I've had a similar problem with ESPN but on Roku for a few weeks now.
I'm logged in but no matter what I try to watch, it says I'm not authorized to view the content. I tried my in-laws' credentials and same thing. If I use my Apple TV though, everything works fine.
Very frustrating.

I was commenting earlier about how much the app had improved in the last couple of years, then it seems the app had no idea a double header was taking place and would not let me find or play the second of the two games.

Big time... espcailly since the one in the house seems to be working fine. I don't know if it's an app issue or a Cox issue or both

Next to impossible to fix. We dropped Cox recently and now have Youtube TV. After many many resets/restarts my wife got it to work on one of our TV's but threw up her hands and gave up on the others. Ridiculous.

I can't log in to espn app with YouTube tv provider on the firestick. Cycles back to the provider log in. Frustrating...I can log in to espn app when I use the smart TV installed app but the sound cuts out for a few seconds every 5 minutes or so. Equally frustrating.

I have a Firestick and a Roku loaded with the ESPN app and plugged into my AV receiver.
The Roku plays ESPN fine, but the Firestick will not play ESPN no matter what I do. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, rebooted, logged in and out of provider and ESPN numerous times, cleared cache, etc. I did all that at the beginning of baseball season, threw in the towel, and just rely on the Roku device for ESPN.
I've seen other posters express frustration with Firestick/ESPN, so either the Firestick or ESPN definitely has an issue. It's probably ESPN because their app is prone to suckage that a smart intern should have been able to fix by now.
Get a Roku Streaming Stick. The top of the line 4k/Dolby/Long Range WiFi version is only $38 on Amazon now. Other models are even cheaper.

This should say: The ESPN app is in contention for the worst app ever.
The iphone app sucks just as bad or worse. It crashes constantly. Infuriating.

Opposite issue here. Fire tv is fine, roku box espn launches and immediately says content source not valid. I haven't even had a chance to log in or do anything. On my phone and fire stick it's fine.
I've uninstalled, reinstalled and cleared cache on roku nothing fixes it.

I cannot get the ESPN app to work on my Fire Stick. I have no issues with it on my Apple TV.
