Now that we are seeing proof that the economic policies are working and will only get better from here, how will the looney tunes party spin it?
Do they dare try to take credit for it like they tried to do in 2016?

They're already on record saying this economy is his because he said the current status was due to Biden's economic policy.......
Looks like President Trump may have baited them into preemptively giving him the credit.

The foundation of their attacks will always be OMB. That's why they had to trot out the Useful Idiot Larry David in an attempt to discredit Bill Maher, who met with President Trump and later declared that he wasn't quite the monster that Democrats, the media, Hollywood stooges, etc. claim that he is.
I'm not a Bill Maher fan, but his common sense assessment of Trump probably helped more than I initially thought that it did. It's a shame that some people even needed that, though.

They don’t give a true shite about that stuff, this is about THEIR power and control. If something is going good (and bad for them) they’ll ignore it and focus on other things they think they can exploit.

The policies aren't doing anything yet. Most of Trump's cost cutting efforts have been partially or completely blocked by the courts. His immigration policies have been blocked by the courts. His tariffs are very early. Once Trump's policies start working, things will get worse before they get better. There's still pain to come from fixing decades of bad policy.
You'll know Trump's policies are having a positive effect when budget deficits and trade deficits decline sharply and the US becomes less dependent on countries that are not our friends. Until then, people who can't tolerate the prospect of sacrifice are the biggest threat to our recovery.
