It'll be 150 bucks by the time it releases

Literally no one believed they were releasing this year. I’m honestly surprised they kept the charade up this long.

Yep this is one of the least surprising delays ever. At least we get a May release date to work with until that changes to November.

The video game industry sucks so badly these days.

Exactly 100% of people said there was no chance in hell it was coming in 2025. Makes you wonder why they bothered to announce a 2025 date when this inevitability was coming.

And it will be delayed again into fall 2026

Idk, id take some delays over rushing a broken/buggy mess at release

Count me in this group. I wouldnt be surprised if it didnt come until 2027 to essentially be a dual launch on the ps5/ps6, and other similar platforms.

This is always the retort. Is it too much to think that a dozen years is enough time to not “rush” a broken/buggy mess?

I don’t really care about rockstar at this point.
All they are good for are shark cards, gta V re-releases, and infinite delays of anything new.
2001-2013 rockstar was one of the GOATS. Current day rockstar is just an overhyped mess of a studio that’s resting on its laurels.
Delay VI to 2040. IDGAF.

Good. I hope they take all the time they need with this one

By the time this game is released, there will be people in high school who were not alive when GTA 5 was released.
They are delaying themselves into irrelevance.

I mean, movie studios will rush out a shite movie over budget concerns. If I'm paying $80 instead of $12, then give me something memorable. They have earned my trust to release it when they're ready.
And RDR2 was amazing. People like Carson didn't like the looting animations and the fact that you couldn't Spiderman your way across the map. The game was about taking your time, slowing down, exploring. If you don't have the time to do that, then go play CoD for 15 minutes and GTFO.

My favorite type of game...when its not bogged down by tedious elements. BRB, going watch Arthur bend over to pick up 2 rifle ammo and open drawers and cabinets for 10 min straight

for those of us in our 30s, we'll be well into our 50s when GTA VII releases.
