No accusations Owl. Everyone knows, you don't have to hide it any longer. This is your safe space.

I have a 3/4 Great Dane 1/4 Dutch Shepherd.

He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and intelligent, and also the highest energy goofball I have ever seen. Shepherd drive, intellect, and athleticism in a 160lb body...it can be a little much.

Well technically they were only cross dressers because you were talking about the Nazis burning books and how the only burnt books that were sexual perversions and never did anything wrong

but keep posting tweets ,, its what you do

On my second.

If you’ve got room for the poop, they’re fantastic. Big sweet dogs. Temperament very similar to a calm golden retriever.

A friend had a couple and is down to 1 bc 2 died of old age. The other is old too. Good dogs. Had a couple come through rescue, too. Have to socialize and train when young. We cleaned up some young ones that were a mess we worked with and got training for bf adoption and they went on to do well with experienced homes. Research what they are susceptible to such as bloat and some can have temperament issues.

My neighbor had one a long time ago.

I’d get home late and turn to get out of my Camaro and he would be eye to eye with me looking in the drivers side window. I almost shite myself first time it happened.

Cool and friendly dog though. And it had a huge crush on my mom’s shih Tzu.

That’s all I’ve owned for the last 18 years. I’m on my 5th right now. 1st one I bought from a breeder then rescued the last 4. Technically the 5th one is a Dane/Boxer mix.

Had a male that died in 2017. 175lb teddy bear, loved him. Incredible dog but the last year was tough; will get another one, definitely worth the effort. Agree with poster above, training is required when young or you will have a problem on your hands.

It is the only thing he knows. He has no original thoughts, and he has now embraced AI to feed him his opinion.

That's kind of sad. The Doberman we got when I was in elementary school died when I was in college. Didn't know Great Danes don't live long.

Current have 2. One American GD 130lb blue Merle (3 yrs old) and 160 lb black European (1 yr old). We have had a lot of dogs and Danes are the best ever. Very playful and lovable. They don’t have spacial awareness and think they are lap dogs.
