Kohl’s fires new CEO for funneling business to vendor who is romantic partner

His salary as CEO at Kohls was $20M.

I was just having a conversation with a business buddy about all the stupid shite we have seen CEO's do over the years.
This is right in the wheelhouse.
The crazy thing is that the "CEO Club" is very, very real. This guy will land another position in a year or so. Right about when his separation package ends. This guy will absolutely get 12 or 18 months of full salary as a parting gift. Something like this happening at a lower level would get you black balled but this guy and his buddies will just laugh about it.
