Looks like Friday is very high rain chances. Might see a DH Saturday.

There has been this thread nearly every single week. How many double headers have we played all season?

Idk but I feel like we have had way too many games going past midnight due to late starts.

100% chance of storms and heavy rainfall on Friday. No baseball will be played

This is a fact. We have had more delays and cold weather games than I ever remember. With that being said, we haven't had to play a double header, nor have we missed out on any games due to weather, despite it being brought up almost weekly.

Hell, people were convinced we wouldn't play a game against Oklahoma.

Give me a DH any day over a 10pm first pitch.

A late night start might not be the worst thing with their raucous crowd

Prolly similar to BR for the Tennessee series. Thursday will be normal, Friday-- maybe a long night crying by the record machine, and Saturday, a 7 pm start.

Ok, so it's Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Friday: Long night-- maybe 9:30 pm start
Saturday: normal start time
Sunday: normal start time-- beautiful weather, warm but low humidity

Does aggy coach make the call or is it both he and JJ? I think Aggy has played 2 double headers so far and according to TEXAGS the coach prefers a DH over late start.

Saturday's not looking fantastic, either.
If a DH Saturday, they'll probably start late.

From SEC Commissioner's regulations:
quote:

The home institution’s Athletics Director (or his/her designee) shall have the authority to determine whether a contest should, prior to its start, be temporarily delayed until a later time on the same date or another time on another date within the scheduled series. Once a contest has started, the decision to suspend play is the responsibility of the umpires.
