Heading to London middle of June. Taking the 15 year old daughter - this will be her first European trip. If anyone has any suggestions for things to do in London that are unique for her, then that would be welcomed.

If it's a nice day, take the Thames Clipper Uber Boat.
Ride a double decker bus.
Take pictures in a red telephone booth.
Westminster Abbey - search for people she's interested in/learned about in school that are buried there.
Buckingham Palace. We didn't make the changing of the guard, but we walked down the Birdcage Walk past the Royal Guard museum about an hour before and saw them preparing. My 13 year old granddaughter enjoyed it.
We did Paris and London Spring Break with her but we were only in London two nights so we didn't do much. If we had more time, she would have wanted to go to Notting Hill because she loves the movie.

It’s dangerous to paint in broad strokes but most kids should love:
The British Museum
Museum of Natural History - The Mary Anning fossils are a really cool historical event
Tate Modern
British Portrait Museum
London Eye
Victoria & Albert
Walking through any of the many parks/Notting Hill/Soho shopping/Trafalgar Square
Abbey Road if at all a Beatles fan
London Tower

Thanks, TG!
Yeah, the wife and I have been before, but looking forward to doing a lot of these things over again for the first time with the kid. She loves history, so Westminster Abbey is right up her alley!
Hope you've been well.

Awesome! Have an amazing time. We did Amsterdam a couple of years ago and enjoyed it (did not partake in traditional Amsterdam "things").
Give me a "Geaux Tigers" if you see me in London!

Yep, a lot of that is already on the list - looking for some "different" things to do that she might like - something out of the norm.
But, thank you for the list!

It’s going to sound stupid and my kids aren’t quite teens but for some reason they love going to Zara and these other European stores. Give her a credit card and let her roam around, step into a pub and have a cask ale.

My wife and I are having our first child any day now. Plan is for two weeks in Maine in August to see family as a first trip, but that is very much TBD on how everything goes.
I did get a hall pass for Bandon Dunes in September

It’s Zara. Most things cost $10-20

If she likes history you have to do the British Museum, its sectioned so have a plan of attack. No way in hell you can take all that in in a day.
Kids love Egyptology. The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology is the finest collect of Egyptian artifacts (all kingdoms) under one roof. Sure all the artifacts are looted but you can talk about ethics on the plane ride home.

Going back to Honolulu in late July and I'm looking forward to exploring the island more. The last time we went we just stayed in Waikiki for 2 days before hopping over to Kauia.

Son starts college on June 1st…wife and I go to Paris at the end of July. Hopefully that’s enough time for him to be settled enough for my wife to enjoy herself. She was speaking French to an app this morning…
