Thanks for proving exactly what I said happened. A fake report about Amazon.com displaying Tariff prices had to be clarified to Trump by Bezos that Amazon Haul was the only website considering it and it was not going to be implemented. Keep falling for Punch Bowl News fake reporting

The original report from Punch Bowl news said it was Amazon.com and Amazon denied the report saying Amazon.com was never considering displaying tariff cost and only Amazon Haul was considering it. Amazon never issued a different statement after Trump called Bezos. They only issued 1 statement denying the original report and clarified only the Amazon Haul website was considering showing the tariff price. No they did not. Trump called Bezos because of a fake news report from Punch Bowl News stating Amazon.com would be displaying tariff prices which was not accurate. Bezos explained to Trump the report was fake and Amazon never had any intentions of displaying tariff prices on Amazon.com and Amazon Haul was also not going to be displaying tariff prices. If Trump was actually told by Bezos yes we are going to display tariff prices and then Trump proceeded to talk Bezos out of it Trump would of been bragging about that on Truth Social all day. Some of you have no ability to think Logically and just believed a fake news story by Punch Bowl News. Then when Amazon denied the story you immediately turn to Trump made them do it when Logically if that happened Trump would of been bragging about changing Bezos mind all day.

To me though, this sounds like a malicious leak from an Amazon employee, designed to undercut rivals during corporate infighting. As such, the thing may not have even reached the level of a formal proposal.
