Rand Paul never recovered

Rand was the anti-establishment R of choice before Trump came along. He’s probably salty. You can say he has “principles” but those principles didn’t do jack shite to Obama, Biden, or Fauci. Rand has underran Trump in every election in Kentucky, he needs to accept that.

trump isnt god, jesus rand has always been against tariffs...same with massie.
i agree with them in principle but in this case trump is right because the other countries are doing it to us while we pay to keep shipping lanes open, pay for their defense etc etc
but dont get mad because someone sticks to the same principles they have always had. especially when in theory they are correct.

If Rand is really against tariffs, why not be willing to fight to get other countries to remove them?
If Rand cares about americans, why is he OK with open borders and letting criminals in that kill americans?

im just saying many people come on here and bash anyone that disagrees with trump on anything. Im just saying in general he isnt right on every issue and its ok to have your own thoughts on something. There are plenty on here that think he can never be wrong.
for example I have always agreed with massie and paul that tariffs are bad. I agree in principle still, but in the light of other countries putting more and more tariffs on us and demanding we spend more and more in defense...i have rethought my position.
do i still think its a tax on the American tax payers...sure temporarily. But those countries are not playing by the same rules and its anything but free trade. Im all for free trade if everyone is paying by the same rules.

huh? Rand has always stated the primary function of the federal gov according to the constitution is national defense and has stated many times that the open border policy is the number 1 threat to that.

yall praise him when he stands up against democratic spending and the passing of a massive CR and/or omnibus when dems are in power....but as soon as he keeps those same principles when Rep are in charge yall get mad

Rand is standing on the deck of the titanic bitching to the other musicians about what song to play. Reality is it doesn't fricking matter because there are more important things to deal with.
