Week in review:
- First sweep of the season vs Toronto
- Starting pitching allowed 2ER in 19.1IP with 18K
- Had double-digit hits all 3 games (even Walker hit above average that series)
- Dezenzo showed a lot of promise at the plate in the Toronto series hitting 5-7 with 2 doubles
- KC series. BLEH
- Starting pitching was once again nails; Framber 8IP 2ER LOSS, Wesneski 5IP 2ER LOSS, Brown 6IP 1 ER WIN)
- Bats were quite literally non-existent in the first 2 games (went 1-12 RISP, 11 LOB and 17Ks)
- Took 27 innings and a Yordan 3-run HR to snap a scoreless streak that went all the way back the 3rd inning vs Toronto
- Turns out our catchers can throw a baserunner out - 2 gundowns this weekend, which brings our season total to.....2
- Christian Walker remains a problem. 11 multi-strikeout games this season, including a 3K game yesterday (36% K rate this season)
- Forest Whitaker blessed us with his presence for 6 outs and then immediately went on the IL
- LMJ is expected to make 1 more AAA start before joining the major league roster. It's unclear if he will be in the starting rotation or coming out of the bullpen
Looking ahead:
3 game homestand vs Detroit
Off day Thursday
3 games @ Chicago White Sox

This is creeping dangerously into a sign of decline in ability, which is something we know well when it comes to aging 1st basemen
It's baseball, slumps happen, but even the glove?
I know it's still a small sample size and he's trying to adjust to new surroundings, but he's running out of time and excuses

LMJ just hit 10 years of service time yesterday. Of course, he was actually only available to play 6 of those 10 years.

Ferris Winklevoss spends most of his day in a bubble
They only let him out when Lance McGrifter Jr needs it

I saw this before the image appeared and I was hoping you were referring to a change in hitting coaches.

Just goes to show you that Espada doesn’t know what he’s doing. Has to take Altuve to come up with an idea for something to get put in motion
I guess we don’t have an analytics department anymore? Thanks, Bagwell

Isaac is a walking QAB. Down 0-2 and never seems to get off his game plan and battles back into counts.
Wish I could say the same for Walker
