I got the scoop on what happened.. Coach Moore wanted Dart..This was the backup plain.

If you look closely at the press conference after the draft last night, coach moore wanted Jaxson Dart .
They thought they could trade back in last night, but the giants jumped in.
He was bummed out about the situation. And had to pick a quarterback at round two.

You Have to take what the draft gives you. Falling in love with a player is fine but if they're not there don't chase a position, go for bpa

I’m sure Moore did want Dart. Too bad his GM is an idiot that gets out maneuvered by literally anyone
As soon as I saw the rumors leading up to the draft that the Giants wanted to trade back into first for Dart, I knew they were going to beat us to him. Just too predictable

So many holes to fill and we already have two backup QBs in Haener and Rattler, one of whom will start. Could find a journeyman for the third backup to ride out this lost season. Shough isn’t a day 1 starter and feels like like a wasted pick.

no, he really didn't...
you used a 2nd round pick on a guy who very possibly is not any better than Rattler... much like the pick last night, we are using valuable draft capital when we could be utilizing that capital in other areas that would make a much more dramatic impact to the team overall

I think they are going to start him this year sometime. I don't love the pick. Way too early for the player.
