We consistently make bad pitchers look good for about 4-5 innings then we turn it on for some reason. Cant keep playing from behind it will eventually catch up to you

Did we get more than 25 hits?

We were better at the start of games in the beginning of the year

Biggest issue I see is just the lulls. We have major stretches of the weekends or games where we don’t seem to have any kind of plan of attack. Too many wasted at bats.

We should have gone 4-2 against Auburn and Bama considering what we have coming up the next 3 weekends. If we hit the next 3 series the way we did in the last 2, we will be lucky to go 4-5.

Better than last weekend. Would like to see Brown stay in the lineup permanently. Seems like he is starting to really see it

Not near enough consistent hitting or clutch hitting at this point in SEC play to remain top 4. Also, after 6 innings we cannot seem to rally. Much work to be done here.

You mean against SEC teams or the non conference weak schedule we played?

Deeply concerned with the offense. And the walks from the pitching staff are unacceptable. This ain’t it.

We have to get better with RISP. I’m sure LSU would love that as well.

Chris Stanfield is batting .404 in SEC games and has a team leading 12 doubles. Dickinson is 2nd with 5. Why is he not leading off???

Jared Jones the last 2 weekends was 3 for 24 with 12 strike outs and he’s batting 2nd or 3rd. That’s a huge problem.

Jake Brown is our most talented RIght fielder. He’s better than Pearson and Frey at the plate. Why is he not an every day starter????

Milam is hitting .213 in SEC play and he’s batting 4th or 5th. Why???

Braswell is hitting.313 in SEC play and bats 8th. Again why???

These are my questions.

This team simply has major issues without Jones at the meat of our lineup doing what he should be doing. I don’t think just taking him out the lineup or dropping him down if you’re insinuating that is the solution. He badly needs to snap out of it for us to be a top team.
