You give LSU 3 straight SEC losses and now yall are about to allow Texas to run away with the regular season title by getting swept by the horns. Thanks for nothing. Hopefully A&M can somehow take a game or two from the horns or else there is no catching them.

Texas must be the real deal this year. They lost practically their best player weeks ago and they are still mowing down SEC teams. This sucks man.

Texas has a very good team, but they’ve also caught a lot of breaks this year. Pitching is elite for sure

LSU can’t get swept at Auburn and then complain about anything.

Who cares about the SEC championship?

Get to 18-20 wins and get a national seed. All that matters.

Texas was given an easy schedule compared to us anyway esp down the stretch so doubt we would’ve caught em.

At this point I’m fine with them knocking everyone out we’re competing with for the top 4. They can have the postseason #1 seed (although Tenner put that curse to bed last season)

Why not win the SEC and get to Omaha?
It’s been too long since LSU has won the SEC.

Winning the SEC is a crapshoot now with teams playing unbalanced schedules. When there were 12 teams in the league and you only didn't play one team, it was a bit more representative.

Doubtful at this point, but the goal is Omaha. We don't need to win the SEC to get there. We just need to finish strong.

They have had an advantageous schedule thus far. Not that their schedule is easy, but they have played good teams at home and worse teams on the road.

Our schedule:
Missouri - both play
Texas
Miss State - both play
OU - both play
Auburn - both play
Alabama
Tennessee
A&M - both play
Arkansas - both play
So Carolina

Texas schedule:
Miss State
LSU
Missouri
Georgia
Kentucky
Auburn
A&M
Arkansas
Florida
Oklahoma

So we play Alabama 8-9, Tennessee 12-4, & So Carolina 4-13.

And Texas plays Georgia 10-7, Kentucky 6-10, & Florida 5-11.

Our schedules are pretty comparable. Tennessee is slightly better than Georgia, and Bama is slightly better than Kentucky, but So Carolina is worse than Florida.

Just stop with the Texas has an easier schedule BS. They are just a damn good team.

Go look at where they play those teams. Playing at home and on the road makes a huge difference. All the teams we have played on the road are in the top half of the league. All the ones they have played on the road are in the bottom half.

Typical take from casual Chad

Get to 20 regular season wins. Lock up a top 4 SEC finish and we are hosting til Omaha. Thats all that matters at this point.

Could not care less how Texass finishes.
