I do like the parity in this sec. I love high stakes. Last season we were buried all season, then flipped a switch and played great in the sec tournament and then should’ve won the regional at North Carolina. We were battle-tested, and it showed. Yes, we fell short in the end, but the point is this sec is bigtime!

The SEC is very good this year. It may be the deepest a College baseball conference has ever been, and LSU is right in the middle of it.
This team is very good, but they aren’t great. It’s going to be a grind for the rest of the season. If you need sweeps and easy wins, maybe tune out until the regional, because that’s not happening in this conference.
The pitching is starting to churn, but the bats have gone ice cold. It happens. I’d much rather it happen in April than late May.

Yep, all those teams are struggling tonight, but they're all still likely better than LSU. That's what matters.
