Lose faith in Derek? This week? After he got hurt this year? 2023?

Second year of injuries in a row for a mid 30’s qb will make any franchise move on.
Posted on 4/15/25 at 8:31 pm to High Life
First year when he's screaming at his linemen. He's a bitch and nothing has ever been his fault.

I don't believe that for one second that he's actually hurt. Either he or the team put out this hurt shoulder BS to try and fake out other teams as to their draft intentions.

All he needs is decent protection and he’s the greatest player on Earth.

hated the signing but he proved how soft he really is after a win over the Falcons no less!!
"I'd like to give a shoutout to DA for helping build this thing"
WHAT?
BUILD WHAT MOTHER frickER?
you went from 2-7 to 3-8 at that point.
and it really was more on the defense winning that game because Cousins at some point lost his groove that day.
but Carr let you know who really is that day.
A starting caliber QB who is a matter of fact uninspiring at heart!

The first time he cried on the field while he was still a Raider. Knew he was a pussy there and then.

First off, I didn't have much faith in him from the get go because his accuracy stats were terrible in the league. I also saw he was DA's guy and for some reason DA thought getting the raiders back together on the Saints was a great idea.
I didn't like him when he was yelling at his players during the 1st season. You could tell he was a cock sucker type of guy.
I didn't like him the next summer when his brother was talking shite about the Saints.
When I saw he got ripped last summer and then after the first two games I became optimistic.
By the time he tried to hurdle a defender on 2 and 10, I had given up hope that he would be decent.
Now, I want him gone as soon as possible. Can anyone explain to my simple mind why they restructured him? Should taken the hit this year and been done.

I was against the signing from the very beginning

I was completely against the signing from the beginning. I thought we needed to get a cheap vet with potential and try to get a high pick in the draft if things didn't work out.
We were not an average QB away from a championship and paying 40M/yr for an average QB when we were already up against the cap ceiling was dumb as hell.

Never wanted him here.
Think they had to restructure based on their past bad decisions with the cap.

I was never in favor of letting Dennis Allen bring in "his guy." Allen was clearly a hold over till we could line something else up, and letting him have a multi million multi year QB is comical.

Raider fan here, I’d like to chime in on this one if I may.
Derek joined the Raiders saying all the right things and even spouted off about his “Mamba mentality” (Kobe Bryant reference). Some of us realized quickly it was nothing but hot air.
Mr. Checkdown. Over and over again, I’d see him throw at the LOS while there was a wide open receiver downfield. He panics, would rather get the quick completion. Improves his %.
Three times we saw him throw the ball away on 4th down, once on 4th and game. Rather than give a teammate a shot, threw it in the dirt or the stands. He doesn’t want to risk an INT on his stat line.

We saw him drop to the ground before anyone was near him time and again.
LINK
The rest of the league saw it too.
LINK
Slid 8 yards in front of a defender, with a blocker out front.
LINK
Clean pocket and panics.
LINK
Not once, but twice… this.
LINK
LINK
Then came the absolutely inexcusable. At least twice, I saw him let go of the football just to break his own fall. This one in his own end zone, which turned a safety into a TD the other way. THIS was proof positive he’s all about himself, and nothing but a flaming puss. Watch the slow mo at the end. No doubt. Mamba mentality my a$$.
LINK
When the Raiders benched him after an absolute dog sh*t showing by him vs. the Steelers, rather than grab a clipboard and help the team, he went home to pout. I see he’s pulling the same stunt with the Saints. He’s butthurt they are looking at QBs.
Ater the Raiders dumped him, he went in front of his family church and claimed he was carrying the Raiders. “Franchises are heavy!” Met with applause and the pity he was looking for. Never mind the fact he “carried” us to nowhere.
He takes NO accountability for anything. Always everyone else’s fault as he puts on a born again Christian act under his shiny halo. “The Fresno Fraud” is a name fully earned. In 50 years of football fandom, I have never actually hated a football player, until Derek Carr came along. Be thankful you won’t have to put up with 9 years of this dude.
PS, You think his Youtube car videos are douchey? Check this out…

He is claiming a fake injury to be traded. For the 2nd time in his career.
He has no spine. Just ask for a trade. Carr looks like a vagina doing it this way.

Thanks for that. I think Pete will get your team up off the mat and headed on the right direction.

He already did though. They couldn't make it happen. That's why he went this route.
You have some older heads calling him out now like Scott Shanle. Good
