Legally residing non-citizens have been able to serve in the US Military since the countries founding.

Isn’t Bregman‘s father running as a Democrat in that state? Or is it another state?

Stop sending these states federal law enforcement grants. Problem solved.

I believe the difference is, the 15 million who crossed the border in the last four years were all deemed legal when they stepped across.

I tend to think the ms13 neck tat might class with the uniform.

It is a great way for the gangs to ensure safe passage of human cargo and drugs. Great strategic planning on their part. Pay some liberals some cash and get kracking.

Remember there is always the good reason "they are hard working and want a better life" and the real reason "smugglers highway".

And have no authority to seize the person of a US citizen on US soil. Apples & oranges. This is an atrocious idea.

I imagine there’s a shortage of cops due to their persecution of them.

The left wants to purge cops and make a loyal police force.

Do you think if they ordered non citizens to do something unconstitutional that many would know the difference?

No non-citizen of my country is going to enforce the laws of my country/state/city against me.

Simple as that.

Law enforcement operates heavily in relation to the 4th Amendment.

seizing a person

is one of the most powerful things you can do.

Allowing a non-citizen to exercise this power over a citizen? Absofrickinlutely not.

Question isn’t directed to me but I’ll answer: I’ll do what I’ve been doing, which is avoiding dark blue areas at all costs so I can avoid such encounters, and also encounters with urban thugs. I have a fear of busting a cap in one robbing me and then being prosecuted by a Soros/BLM-type prosecutor. I’m retired and fortunate enough to go and not go wherever I please.

Not let a non-citizen of my country enforce the laws of my country/state/city against me.

The 4th Amendment prohibits seizure without probable cause and/or a warrant based on PC...and that's with regard to MY OWN government.

No way is a foreign citizen going to seize my person in MY country.
