President Trump Talks w/Gretchen Whitmer & Others in the Oval Office....

In a subtle way, I thought the "body language" aspects of this event were hilarious. Trump is signing an EO that pertains to Michigan (the audio isn’t good for some reason). There are other people in the room, and Trump doesn't adress Whitmer until the 2-minute mark. She's standing as far away from President Trump as possible, and seems uncomfortable even being there.
If she were standing any farther away, she'd almost be in what Bill Maher referred to as the "Blow Job" room. Ha ha.....

The great Mark Halperin had a segment on this meeting and was commenting about how not every high profile potential Presidential candidate has the "magic" to pull it off.
De Santis was the perfect candidate for 2024 on paper and had the most money. He was attractive enough, hip enough, smart enough.... but he didn't have "it". Whitmer's WH event doesn't doom her, but it's a good sign that she might not have the stuff.

Agreed. She at least wanted to come off as looking like the 2nd most dominant person in the room. Instead, she looked more like the bashful girl who wanted to run and hide.
Apparently, she wasn't smart enough to realize that there just might be a photo-op when the Governor of one of the bigger states visits the White House.
