Went to the game tonight, ordered 2 bottles of water

They took the caps off and threw them away. I asked why I cant have a cap, she said so I dont throw it on the court or worst, I throw it on the floor and some slips on it.
I showed up to see this shite team and I have to carry water perpendicular to the floor all night. They dont trust me to manage my bottle cap but Im supposed to have full faith in the management of the team.
Weird Rant but my God are we not sponsoring idiocracy here.

It’s always been the case. And it’s not a terrible idea in practice. With the current performance of the team maybe they deserve to get some projectiles thrown their way though.
But in all seriousness this is what you’re bitching about? Enjoy yourself (as much as you can with this shite product) at the game. God forbid you hold your water bottle like an able bodied person.

Most sports venues haven’t allowed caps since that Cleveland Browns game in 2001. I can’t remember the last game I attended that didn’t do this.

They do this at all sporting events. They also take the caps off beer bottles.

They’ve done this forever in the Superdome. I used to bring a bottle cap with me. Now I go to self checkout, take the cap off when I check out, walk away and put the cap back on.
