you're trying to engage and reason with a poster you acknowledge is an idiot...hard to win against an idiot.

SFP is a very high IQ individual but he was defending the hell out of the trade and being his usual contrarian self

He may be a high IQ individual, but he was agreeing with Charles Barkley…can both of those things be true?

It was more than him said it

I didn’t once say Dallas won the trade. I understood why they made the trade and said they got a good return while they could before Luka slows down in the next few years and they have him on the books for $345 million.
The Lakers have a 9-10 record in their last 19 games. They stumbled into the #3 seed because the Western Conference is mediocre outside of OKC. Luka doesn’t play defense and will be hunted throughout the playoffs. Here’s what my post was when the trade happened:
“The lakers will quickly find out that Luka is a bad defensive player and they’ll realize that this trade isn’t as lopsided as it seems.”
“The Mavs knew they couldn’t win with him. They got gentleman’s swept by the Cs without a healthy Porinzgis. They saw the writing on the wall and decided to get back a good return while they still could.“

So you’re doubling down. Not surprised. Lakers are 21-12 with Luka. You said “the Lakers will quickly find out” like they didn’t already know everything there was to know about Luka Doncic. The Lakers won’t do much at all in the Playoffs because that roster has holes everywhere….people like you will blame it on Luka of course. And BTW, that “good” return Dallas got for Luka poured in 13 points Wednesday night. 77 had 45. You lost this one homie….

He's a dumbass conspiracy theorist and an Agurn fan. Enough said.

The trade truly made zero sense.

Dallas is moving to Vegas

I have no problem with that trade. The Lakers nor Mavs were or are winning the title this year or for the immediate future. Luka is going to demand a huge, if not largest, contract ever. The Mavs decided he wouldn’t be worth it so they ripped the band aid off now rather than next year. The Lakers may very well decide the same or they’ll sign him and be on the hook for a one dimensional player for years.
As for the return of the trade, sure they could have shopped him and gotten more players or picks, but it’s all about the money, More picks means more to sign. You guys simply are looking at the players and not taking into account the entirety of the sport. I predict in the course of the remainder of Luka’s playing career that the Mavs will end up in a better position than the Lakers. No different than the Thunder who let KD, Westbrick, and others walk.
