Release him into El Salvador. The problem will resolve itself.

They are worried about a non citizen gang member getting due process but did nothing about J6 defendants sitting in prison for years without charges

Having a court order saying he can be deported but not to his country is stupid. Where the frick else are we to send him.
Send him to gitmo, give him the “due process” and then keep him there I guess. Or put him in a jail in the US for being illegal.

But, will he be a changed man from his experience?

The
order properly requires the Government to “facilitate”
Abrego Garcia’s release from custody in El Salvador and to
ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had
he not been improperly sent to El Salvador. The intended
scope of the term “effectuate” in the District Court’s order
is, however, unclear, and may exceed the District Court’s
authority. The District Court should clarify its directive,
with due regard for the deference owed to the Executive
Branch in the conduct of foreign affairs. For its part, the
Government should be prepared to share what it can concerning the steps it has taken and the prospect of further
steps. The order heretofore entered by THE CHIEF JUSTICE
is vacated

Exactly.
Paired with the fact the court documents state he has not been charged or convicted of a crime in either country- looks like he will probably get to roam free if he's undeportable AND not convicted of a crime unrelated to immigration.

This simply wasn’t a close call. I could have lived without the wise Latina’s “Statement,” but well done by the court in affirming our core constitutional value of due process.

Dude. Think about what due PROCESS means. I may well even agree with you that there were some excessive sentences, but they received all the process they were due.

There’s no due process when an asylum hearing is ordered in 2019 and in 2025 it still hasn’t happened. That’s the opposite of due process.

Hey it is not our jail, not our country, not our issue.
Let’s see if the SC has jurisdiction in El Salvador……
They must be stupid…..
I think the SC has probably lost most of their brain function from covid shot and boosters….

They can certainly make this ruling. They just can’t do shite about it.
Sucks to suck, courts.
