I'd start making deals with all the Asian Countries that surround China and as each week goes by up the tariff on China. Freeze them out of their own region.

Trump quickly realized the economy was about to crash when he included all countries. It should’ve been done this way from the beginning. What a total fricking shite show.

You are the idiot, you obviously have never run a business.
If he had said "lets negotiate" it would be 10 years of haggling while they continue to screw us. You threaten them with a tariff and they scramble to make a deal. Its is the true art of the deal......and we get 10% while we do it. Beauutiful.

No. Of course none of us know for certain. I don’t think it’s just to focus on China because they would have just implemented them that way. I think Trump used tariffs to get everyone focused and willing to deal. He forced all the major countries into some understanding regarding equitable trade and China. We will have to wait for it to play out to see what it entails.

That was my first thought after hearing about the pause. It is going to take a lot of time to negotiate with all these countries. The ones not participating are probably going to fall in line. He may put another 90 day pause on.
