Woman Goes Viral for Almost Divorcing Husband Over Chores

Page says she carries the emotional load. Almost divorced him because although he made dinner every night and packed the kids school bags every day, he asked her what she wanted for dinner and what goes in the school bags every day. She says being the “project manager” of the house for things like this is not her bag. Also she refuses to do his laundry because he’s a grown man and can do it himself, even actively picking his dirty laundry out of her loads. They share the responsibility of doing the kids laundry.
One morning he forgot to take out the trash and unload the dishwasher. She called him and asked why. He said he was running late for work. She interpreted this to mean she was unseen. Because now she has to be late for work. By the way she doesn’t have to work but wants to for “purpose” and in case the marriage ends.
He’s a lineman and works crazy hours.
Apparently thousands and thousands of women online cheer her on. The clips from the podcast are nuts.
Marriage in 2025.

People used to be good at sniffing out trolls. Now everyone believes every story they read/see on the internet.

Does her going on a podcast tour lend more credence to your belief it is real or my hypothesis that the vast majority of these "stories" are a rooted in attention seeking?

She is Everything that is wrong with today’s women.
I’ve been married 43 years. We never had a plan, we saw what needed to be done and do it. Throughout 43 years our roles changed multiple times, naturally. No contract, no arguments, just got on with it.
When I worked, things ran differently than when I was a stay at a home mom and then homeschooling for 7 years. Then I worked 4 to midnight many years and that changed the dynamic. We adjusted.
Now kids are all gone and we are both retired. We both do cleaning. He cooks, I do the dishes. I do laundry and we both share taking care of our pups. My husband has been a musician his whole life and still plays. We make things work. If you love and respect each other it really doesn’t have to be a big deal, except to today’s uptight Karens.

if this woman is fake, then that's even scarier for her husband and kids. there's no way anyone could put up a performance this long, this convincing, without being either authentic or a complete psychopath.

Well attention seeking and telling the truth can both be true at the same time. The lady is absolutely an attention seeking narcissist.

Why do these women……….talk like this……….with quick staccato words…….then pause…….then a spate of words……dramatic pause……
I remember hating that show Gilmore Girls, because they talked like that. Do they think it’s cute? Funny? Quirky? God forbid, professional?

5 minutes of listening to this womans yapping is all it would take to run the other direction.
I couldn't imagine being her husband and knowing leaving for work and not unloading the dishwasher is not only grounds for divorce...but she would tell literally the entire world about it.
