How do we feel about McMahon assembling a mid-major all star team chat?

Will they be able to compete in the mighty SEC? I think it’s a good start, but they need a little bit more. That being said, we won’t stop until the McMarathon is won!

We need a new coach and a new arena….McMahon cannot coach….Ive seen no improvement over 3 years and its a losing situation….his coaching is horrible it’s past time to move on…

We’ve seen how it plays out, the alleged difference this time around by you guys was that all this money was going to bring in elite players but it hasn’t so the actual fans who watch basketball know this roster isn’t any different than the others in terms of talent level.

I don’t get how this is any different from the last 2 rosters? Our prize pickup was less productive and efficient at UNLV than Cam Carter was here. We missed the top wing guy from our backyard to sign a 4th or 5th rung body in that spot. We signed a backup big and we signed a spot up shooter from a league so far down from ours, we don’t even know if he can play in the SEC. How is that going to turn a 3 win team into a winner? No sarcasm, I’d love to know how.

We won't know much until the SEC games start next year. Not holding my breath, at least not yet. I get sucked in every year, I'm a bit irrational when it comes to LSU athletics and sunshine pumping.
That being said, mid-majors are where you pick up talent now, 3 of Florida's starters were at a mid-major before being at Florida. And another was on a PAC-12 team. But only one of them was on another team last season.
So I am in the wait-and-see mode. Not willing to piss and moan all offseason nor to scream from the rooftops about how awesome the MBB team will be. I'll just enjoy baseball then football and try not to get sucked into hoping unless there is real improvement in SEC play.

Don’t mean shite, remember KJ Williams and Juice Hill? What about Jalen Cook? All highly regarded transfers and McMahon’s three seasons here have been putrid. Recruiting or getting players haven’t been the problem. It’s coaching or getting the most out of your talent that is the problem.
