Anyone else ever take Wellbutrin?

What did you use it for, and what dosage did you take?
I’ve been taking 300mg of the extended-release version of Wellbutrin for a while. I don’t find that it makes me feel “happy”, nor does it make me feel like I have a good “well-being” like the serotinergic drugs.
It affects dopamine and norepinephrine instead of serotonin, and so it makes me feel “content” rather than “happy”. That’s good enough for me. I like it better than the drugs that hit serotonin because it doesn’t cause weight gain or sexual dysfunction.

12-13 years ago I took it for about a year. I was going through severe PTSD from work. Back then I drank a lot and smoked cigarettes. I'd also hoped it would help some with that but I just smoked and drank more as I felt content and didn't care. While on Welbutrin that inner voice that says these things are bad disappeared
It did keep me out of a dark hole though. Deep dark thoughts and nightmare visions that stayed with me dissipated. The biggest negative is it raised anxiety and like many anti-depressant meds, made me feel more robotic and I didn't have highs or lows like normal life brings. I was nervous when I got off but got to a point where I knew I was good, and felt better and more lively once I got off of it.
In summary, it did the job I needed it to do at the time.
To add context to my PTSD. I'm a retired firefight/er/medic. Right around my 10 year mark, within the same year, worked 2 wrecks that wiped out a family of 4 and another family of 5. I didn't even realize it got to me that bad. Caused me to go into a nightmare life and complete depression for a good decade before I was able to get on top of it. I'm not gonna bring up my mushroom experiences in this thread (outside of saying I"m not gonna bring it up) but that and therapy helped me figure it out.
ETA 2: Maybe it was later than 10 years in, been a while but happened nonetheless.

No, I take a 45lb bar at the gym and stack it with weights. Also take my hobbies seriously. Don’t need magic pills, just need to get off my arse and stop feeling sorry for myself.

I was on trazadone for a few weeks. Didn't do anything but give me a rapid heartbeat. Took me off that and started me on a low dose of mirtazapine. Was on that for two weeks and no side effects so they raised the dose. So far don't feel any different.

I was on Wellbutrin and Paxil at the same time after going through a traumatic event. I’m not sure if it was because of the combination of both drugs but I had very bad reaction to the Wellbutrin. In hindsight I wish I had never taken either. I went through far worse trauma later in life without the aid of pharmaceuticals.

I took it in high school and it just kept me in the middle. I tried it about ten years ago when I got depressed but it just made me irritated the second time around.

I took Wellbutrin for a few weeks, just trying to calm down in a high stress job. It did calm me down some, but never felt right. Couldn’t keep up with my high stress job and had no libido, so had to stop. Diet and exercise was my way out, good luck…

Used it to cut balance side effects of Lex.
Very Zen combo. Group that with a little gym time and good outdoors, you can be an LSU fan for a very long time with no stress.

I like to life, run 5 miles, and then drink 5 beers like a real man.

Anxiety. 300mg. The norepinephrine in it increased my blood pressure and gave me heart palpitations. Had to get off of it.

I took it for about a year. Interesting side effect, (for me) - it got me completely off nicotine. It wiped away any sort of effect of nicotine and any craving for nicotine. It is prescribed to help people quit cigs but I got it for a different purpose.

I tired it but have a history of SVT and Afib. Made my heart rate rapid with palpitations so I got off
