Anyone check the price of oil lately? Low $60's and falling. It's almost too low.

This is always a fun discussion given the demos of this board (Especially over time as more people not from TX/LA have shown up)

It needs to stop dropping. This is low enough.

That’s weird, because the price was low during Trump’s last term and oil was booming. Maybe you don’t know everything?

My comment specifically had nothing to do with Trump. Move along.

Good time to refill Strategic Oil Reserve drained by Biden.

That maybe, but POTUS has the ability to allow drilling activities to occur. And Trump signed an EO rescinding all of Biden’s many restrictions.

Promises made, promises kept.

Roger,

You need to take a rest, watching you the past two days is like repeatedly watching Chuck "the Bayone Bleeder" in his 15 rounder with Ali, over and over.....

The duration and extent of low oil prices will ultimately depend on OPEC producers. If their social programs begin to struggle and their lifestyles are affected, they may cut production to raise prices again.

If prices remain low for an extended period, the oil and gas industry will experience more layoffs.
