Already crushed some Porkbelly Cartel. Had 4 tacos. Ran into a FDB legend there.

Man. I just cut up some pork belly soaked in the team sauce that's bangin. Ribs are falling off the bone. Pork belly is tender. The crawfish Mac is banger. You can't go wrong.

I just got the belly. You weren’t kidding about that sauce, nice cracking taste on the back end.

I thought about saying hey but I didn’t think it was an opportune time to pull you away from the pack to introduce myself as that guy from the internet you don’t know.

Is anything included in the price of admission? Drink or food tickets for example.

I was just talking about that with of the captains. I think basic entry gets you in. But you pay for food. (It's 100% to the charity though, and a damn good cause plus damn good food.)

A vip gets you in early.

And then a donor level ticket gets you a bracelet that gets you premium access to the VIP section. Free food and drinks. We had a bar setup and tables.

At least that's my understanding. It's my first year with this team.

It was a great time except the parking disaster + DOTD deciding that today was the day to paint “no parking” along all the lots over the levee. In turn, screaming at anyone who tried to park.

But in seriousness, otherwise great time. Fun event. I love food.

Parking definitely an issue. It was packed but many of the lots had open spots. Just not well managed.
